About the venue
This workshop is being held at the sparkly new No Frills Knitting shop in Bedminster, Bristol. It’s got level entrance from the street, and we’ll be using the workshop room at the back of the shop. You get to the space through the shop, but there is also a back door that can be propped open during workshops to move some air about and keep things Covid safe.
About the host
The workshop is being run by Jacki, the knitwear designer and teacher behind the Woolly Badger. She’s been knitting for over a decade, designing for a few years, and teaching workshops throughout 2021. You can have a snoop on Instagram to see just what she’s up to.
How much knitting experience do I need?
None at all. Seriously. You don’t even need to know which end of the needle you knit with.
What will we be making?
We’ll just be making a little swatch to get our heads around how knitting works, but by the end of the workshop you’ll be ready to take on a simple project like a scarf.
What could I do next?
We’ll be holding a beginners stage 2 workshop in December. Anyone who fancies going on to that can get 20% off their ticket for the December workshop.
Any other questions?
Get in touch with Jacki – she’s always happy to help.
